Tougher version from the 1895 Mayo Cut Plug tobacco issue of New York Giant Hall of Famer Monte Ward which still pictures him as an active player(Ward actually retired in 1894). Image of Ward exhibits outstanding clarity and detail. Crease across lower center of card and corner wear the reason for grade. Difficult card nonetheless as only one card has been graded higher than a VG 3 by PSA (a qualified PSA 6).
