Seldom seen photo postcard of the 1905 Philadelphia American League Base Ball Team. The Athletics won the American League that year but lost to the New York Giants 4 games to 1 in the World Series. Clear, in-focus photo image of the players includes Hall of Famers Rube Waddell, Chief Bender, and Eddie Plank. No creases. Nicely centered. Corners about VG. Relatively clean front. Back the same but has been used. Writing is very uniform with clean Post Office cancellation. Small "1905" in black ink neatly written at lower right hand corner. Tough piece.
